1. Who we are
CLR & Associates (“CLR”, “we”, “us”) operates this website as a legal-services and legal-information platform in Bangladesh. Our office is at Eastern Mansion, Suite No. 11/4 (11th Floor), Pioneer Road, 67/9 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh.
2. Information we may collect
- Contact information: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, country, city or district, and preferred contact method.
- Legal-service information: selected service, brief facts or messages, Legal Health answers, readiness/risk indicators, missing-document information and related assessment data.
- Professional/application information: organisation or chamber, Bar/enrolment/licence number, practice areas, professional profile URL, membership plan and application notes.
- Attribution and technical information: landing page, referrer, UTM parameters, fbclid and, when Meta tracking is enabled, browser/server event identifiers such as Meta cookies.
- Website preferences: language, theme and limited browser-storage data used to keep the website working consistently.
3. Why we use information
We use submitted information to respond to requests, route enquiries to an appropriate starting point, review professional or membership applications, operate Legal Health, maintain submission records, improve website operations and measure communications/marketing where tracking is enabled. We may also use or disclose information where required by applicable law, court process, professional obligations or to protect legitimate legal rights.
4. Legal Health and AI providers
Legal Health first produces a deterministic informational assessment. If the AI explanation feature is enabled, selected service details, assessment scores/indicators and assessment answers may be sent to the configured AI provider (Google Gemini and/or OpenRouter) to generate a concise explanation. In the current implementation, the Legal Health AI request does not include the callback form’s name or phone fields. Do not enter unnecessary personal, confidential or third-party information into assessment answers.
5. Service providers and platforms
CLR uses third-party infrastructure to operate the website. Depending on the feature used, information may be processed by Netlify (hosting, forms and server functions), Google Firebase/Firestore (website content and submission records), Meta (Pixel/Conversions API when enabled), and Google Gemini/OpenRouter (when the Legal Health AI feature is enabled). External telephone, WhatsApp, social-media and government links are governed by the privacy practices of those services.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses browser storage for functional preferences and cached website data. If Meta tracking is enabled, Meta technologies may set or read identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc and receive page/contact/lead event data. Browser settings can limit cookies and storage, although some features may work differently.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We do not state that personal information is sold. Information may be shared with CLR personnel and service providers who need it to operate the requested feature, with professional advisers or legal-service collaborators where appropriate, or with authorities when disclosure is legally required. Matter-related confidentiality and applicable professional obligations continue to apply where a lawyer-client relationship is established.
8. Retention
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, operational follow-up, record keeping, professional/legal obligations, dispute handling or other lawful purposes. Retention periods can differ by record type and matter.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable Bangladesh law and any legal or professional exceptions, you may contact us to ask about personal data we hold about you, request correction or updating, request deletion/restriction where applicable, or withdraw a consent where processing depends on that consent. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
The public website forms are intended for adults and authorised representatives. Legal matters involving a child should be submitted by a parent, guardian or other person with appropriate authority unless the law permits otherwise.
11. Cross-border processing
Some technology providers may process data using infrastructure outside Bangladesh. CLR will handle such use subject to applicable Bangladesh law, contractual/provider controls and the nature of the requested service.
12. Applicable framework and updates
This Policy is intended to be read consistently with applicable law in Bangladesh, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 and related data-governance requirements. We may update this Policy as services, technology or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
